-5.9 degree of camber question
I was wondering if it's ok to use the SPC adjustable upper ball joints camber kit along with, the Skunk2 upper control arm camber kit?
My camber is off really badly, I went in and got my car allined and came up with -5.9 degrees of camber.. I can't find a kit that has that much ajustment, so I was wondering if using 2 differant types of camber kits together would be safe to use?

Id go with skunk2 upper thats it -3 deg is ok just make sure u get someone that knows how to align lowered hondas.
When u lower a honda when u hit bumps the camber increases thus making u car toe in faster cause it changes the angles on ur suspension.
My guy gets me to sit in my car and he toes it out slightly i can get alot more life out of my tires.

He has Tein coil overs....Damn Jeremy, didn't think your camber was that bad, I thought my -3.5 was bad....
But yeah, most adjustment I've heard of on a kit is 3 degrees +/-

I'm now wondering why he spent money on pimpy green suspension parts if he's trying to ruin them by having them that low? What a nerd...

The story behind it is, I was sold a front GSR brake conversion form my local tuner shop (SRD) from a 1991 GSR, witch we all know(atleast I do now) doesn't work on a 92-95 civic.. Well after showing them what is going on, they Replced everything with 99 GSR spindles and brakes, did the entire removal of the stuff I installed and put the new stuff on, sent my car to the allinement shop and paid me $40 for the brake pads I bought for the 90-93teg and they did all that for free... Very nice guys over there at SRDhttp://www.superiorracing.com/

Raise your car up, it doesn't need to be that low. If you keep it that low and install a camber kit, then:
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by CivicFerioSiR »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">your gonna hit your strut towers with your upper control arm if you put a camber kit on. (for the front)</TD></TR></TABLE>
And your camber doesn't need to be zero either. Around -2.5 degrees is actually fine, and won't wear your tires as long as your toe is centered. Negative camber is typically a good thing for handling.
