how do you change tranny oil
.....and expect the fill hole plug to be a bitch.... from my experience ive noticed people dont replace that washer when they do an oil swap, and just tighten the **** out of the bolt... i find it easiest to get it from the top with a ratchet wrench and a box end wrench as an extension. GL!

the best way to do it is to take out the speed sensor on the top of the tranny case.
Drain the tranny from the drain plug and then plug it up. fill it from the whole from the speed sensor.
about 2 1/2 bottles of MTF

I disagree, but do whatever floats your boat.

No, that's too much.
A D-series transmission takes no more than 2 quarts (usually a bit less). You have to have the car sitting levels when you fill it, and stop adding when the fluid starts running back out of the fill hole.
A B-series transmission takes 2.2 quarts.

Why wouldn't you get a manual? It's pretty retarded to depend on a forum to spoon feed you information every time you need to do some labor. A Helm manual is by far the best investment anyone can make if they intend to work on their own vehicle - no running from the garage to the computer and back, no having to sift through search results or wait around for replies with information of questionable accuracy . . .

You'd really be surprised how much information isn't good here . . . mass propagation of inaccuracy abounds.

ok....besides the off topic debate i had one more thing to add regarding the tranny fluid change/fill:
The tranny fill bolt can be a pain at times and is very easy to round off. So use a 6-point wrench as its kinda hard to squeeze a wrench in there and thats the last bolt you wanna round off on your car. Just a few words of advice from my past experience wit this.
