car boggs/hesitates at like 25% throttle (99 gsr) when hot...the first couple of minutes of driving there was nothing but i took it for a spirited drive and wen i was cruising again at 2500 it bogged and i gave it more gas and bucked and took off like it should....it has new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, fresh valvelash job. i pulled the plugs to lash it and the plugs where a whiteish/gray but not blistered like the haynes manual says. just the electrode is white/gray. im concerned about my fuel pressure. according to my cheapie pressure gauge is reading 32-35ish psi at idle when i think it should be like 38 to like 40 sumthing? im absolutely **** out of ideas...sumeone said O2 sensor but i thought that would throw a code and cause the car to run open loop which is on the rich side....ANY HELP IS GREATY APPRECIATED

It sounds like you have a fuel psi problem. Your fuel psi needs to be 47-54psi. try pinching the fuel return line off to see if your pressure goes up. You may just have a bad regulator. Also watch you fuel gauge after shutting key off. Fuel psi shouldn't drop more than 10psi in 30 minutes.

 

fuel psi goes down atleast 6psi after i shut it off

bump; is there any reason u guyz think i shouldnt put my walbro 255 and aem fuel pressure reg turned down to stock pressure and see if the 2500rpm bogg stopps?

i got the similar problem after warming up and starting to drive it runs fine after like 20-30 min if i start boosting again it hesitates especially if i give it more gas what can it be thanks

 

your boosting tho...mines bone stock...i would think ur car is doing that for other reasons.

replacing fuel pressure reg this week with stocker...anyone think i should leave my walbro 255 out and see if the stock pump is still good?
