Well i have been having an ongoing problem with my car running rich.
At first it was because i didnt calibrate the TPS sensor....got it calibrated and it stopped running rich
Then it was running rich because the return line off the regulator to the fuel tank was clogged causing the fuel pressure to keep rising to a maximum off 60psi
The return line was unclogged and it stopped running rich
Now its running rich AGAIN
All this time it kept on throwing a code 1 (02 Sensor)
So i put in a new 02 sensor
didnt fix it and it still throws the code....maybe wiring?
Well i lowered my fuel pressure to 25 psi and now it sputtered and boggs and is really underpowered
but now im averaging 13mpg instead of 8mpg
Is it bad to lower my fuel pressure below factory preset levels?
What do you think is making it run rich now
Could what have clogged my return line messed up all my injectors causing them to be stuck open?
Why does it bogg and sputter after lowering the fuel pressure?

im thinking whatever clogged my return line might of messed up my injectors.
why is it running like butt? now that ive lowered the fuel pressure....its still running rich.

Did you change all of your plugs after finding them all to be black? It's also possible that all the extra fuel in the combustion chamber from when you were running rich has caused some damage to the rings, or the head gasket. Give her a good compression check and see what the results tell you.
If you are still throwing an O2 sensor code after changing it out and resetting, maybe you rewired it wrong? Is it universal or OEM? It does make a difference. Running such low fuel pressure is not good, you are probably running the motor too lean now, a reason why the car runs like poop after you did that.

oem honda.......i would of been able to plug it and not have to do any wiring but i had to extend it.
i matched green with green
white with white
and the two black wires i just hooked them up to the other two black wires..... its not 3phase(or is it?) so i dont think it would matter if i switched the two black wires
Plus it ran fine when i first put it in and didnt start thowing the code again for 2days
So i have no idea.
