Default powerflex brake and clutch lines

i was wondering which is better -3 or -4 for lines type, i could measure mine to see what they are stock but i was also wondering if bigger is better or vice-versa and is it worth changing all my lines to ss powerflex for look and for life expectancy of the hoses

I used -3 for my clutch line, and most braided stainless brakelines that I've seen have been -3. The diameter of the inside liner of the -3 hose is closer to the stock size than -4. -4 seems like it would be too big.
