Default H22a1 Coil + Mount vs. H22a4 Coil + Mount

I am in the process of installing an H22a4 in my 92 Lude Si 4ws and have run into an issue with the coil. The engine harness I am using is from a 95 Si and the coil plug doesn't reach. So I unmounted the coil and it is just resting in the bay for now (just to get it started). Where does it mount on the 4th gen A1? The coils are swapable correct? The plug fit right in so I am assuming they are. Pics would be great. Thanks

Yes, and that will last about 35 days.

Do you have a pic LudeFanatic?

so true, many people are having issues with Blaster/MSD stuff on these boards.
Isnt the h23 and h22 coil interchangeable?

Holy crap, you had to mount it down there?! I'm sure you could trim the wire harness cover or some of the tape and pull that plug further up...

There is more wire there than that, but that was the only place i could find to bolt it to that it would reach.

Yea I may just cut the harness open a little (good thinking)

Where do the 4th gens mount?

My H23 has it vertically next to the distributor, but you have a VTEC solenoid there...4G H22 probably just has a different bracket.

Cool thanks, now if someone could post a pic of the 4th Gen H22a mounting position that would be fantastic.

Thanks everyone.
