I know some coils are good in sideways positions certain model numbers, but I just got a new one with the elongated top and now I see thats its recommended to mount right side up. Im thinking to go sideways as its the only available position for me. Will the oil leak out or am I stupid for thinking to go against the recommendation.

 

if your talking about the ss coil, i have that one mounted sideways now for almost 3 years, and it still works fine
