MSD ignition problems!
So far, I have not been able to install my MSD SCI ignition because I cannot find a place to mount it. It recommends that you mount it in a glove box however I have a 4th gen prelude vtec and we all know that the glove box is way too small for anything. Where should I mount it??? Also I looked at the instructions to mount the ignition if you have an external coil on another thread and it only names two wires from the coil. One wire has yellow and another is yellow black, but there is a blue wire! Where does that go?? Oh yeah, I am also putting in a MSD blaster 2 coil if that helps anyone. Thanks
HEy, I still need help. I cannot figure out where to mount my ignition and coil. There is no room on my firewall for it. Should I mount it inside??? Help
the best way I've seen it done is by making a bracket for it and mounting it on top of the intake manifold. the coil can be mounted where the stock one is using a simple 3" L bracket from home depot etc. and enlarging one of the holes.
Thanks man, I actually ended up mounting the ignition where my cruise control actuator was because I yanked it out. I had to make a custom metal bracket to lift it up enough for clearance and it came out nice and clean.
The coil suggestion worked too!
Thanks
