Greddy Type S --- VS ----- Blitz Super Sound ... adjustment/questions
I had a Blitz SuperSound BOV , and I heard the pshhhh pretty much on all shifts as long as I pushed the car hard enuff in each gear.... the screw was turned about 3/4 of the way....
Yesterday I installed the Greddy Type S, and I have been messing with the adjustment, and right now it's turned in 3/4 of the way but I hear the pshhh , sort of 3 times in a row.... I don't hear the high pitch sound that I have heard on other peoples cars with the Type S BOV.... anyone else had this issue ?
How far should the screw be in for it to have the single pshhh then the high pitch sound, or for it to work properly ?? can anyone help out with this issue ???
Thanks in advance.

To adjust the greddy right, you got to idle the car, like around 1000rpms(might have to idle it little higher to feel anything) turn the adjustment nut towards soft until you can feel air rushing out of it,then slowly turn it towards hard until air stops coming out, then give it like a 1/2-1 turn extra and your done.
On the type S, my friends and I go by 7 splines, thats our rule of thumb. That so far seems to work so far, I don't know how many greddy type S's I've installed, I lost count. It works and we've never experienced any problems. Hmm come to think of it, thats how I do shocks too.
During my lunch break I loosened it and adjusted it..
it's sounding good now... woohoo....
Thanks for the help guys....
