greddy type s Blow off valve whistling???

Default greddy type s Blow off valve whistling???

i have the greddy type s BOV, and at low rpm or after a quick rev and upon returning to idle i get theis wierd whistling noise, like its whislting a song for acouple seconds. any clue?

same thing happened to mine its too lose.

It's just enough pressure in the charge pipes to leak/squeak/whistle the BOV, it's normal. If you tighten the spring up to a stiffer setting, you may get compressor surge.
Try adjusting the setting and see what works best for you. The stiffer the setting, the more pressure it will take to blow off. Mine blows off at >2psi, but it does whistle. I don't even notice anymore.

thanks for the reply i belive when i ightened it all the way it did the same thing but i will try again.
