vtec wont cross over any reason why
ok so ive had my car for a year and a half and been through 2 motors an ls vtec turbo and now a b20 vtec turbo and on both motors vtec wouldnt cross over ive had it all re wired tried several ecu's it has plenty of oil pressure new oil pump and tried several solidnoids but nothing...runs just fine but after i cross 5500 rpms it throws a code any idea of what it might be?

have you consulted the code 21 trouble tree? 21= spool valve. thats why it isnt crossing over.
ceck continuity between the wire on the spool valve and ground. 14-30 ohm? no - replace valve/ yes-
re connect. check continuity from a4 to valve. continuity? no - repair open. yes -
check continuity from the connector unplugged from the soleniod, to ground. continuity? yes - repair short to ground. no - substitute known good ecm.
this is all from the helms. 94 teg helms.
