i looked all over here for the torque specs and pattern for used head bolts but i cant find it. can anyone throw me a bone?

 

Search Google for "hondahookup manuals". There is plenty of bone there.

 

Torque them to 22lb/ft in a criss cross pattern from the inside out. Then go back and torque them to 60 lb/ft in the same pattern. I believe that's it...but you might wanna look it up before you start.

 

ok i go a manual at the library and its saying criss cross and 63lbs. but i know i cant go to 63 off the bat i was thinking 20 or 30.

heres my question at this point....is it different for used bolts? arent they "stretch" bolts?

 

yeah they are stretch bolts so you should prbably go and get new ones to be safe unless ur cheap and you dont care about your car all that much
