Default h22 head bolt question

i need to find out if head bolts for an h22a are torqe to yeild or not? my friend who is helping me with my car needs to know this.

just get out the helms for the torque specs...you torque them in a few steps i believe.

start off with about 30 lb/ft starting with the center bolts. after you have all of them at 30, go up to about 60, make your last torque 80 lb/ft i believe. look at the awesome diagram below...... you need a helms. btw i forget if there are 8 or 10 head bolts. if there's only 8, disregard 9 and 10.

thanks.. but he said somthing about "torque to yeild" and if they are then he needs a special tool to do it anyone know what that is..

just use a regular torque wrench and do what i said. i've never heard of torque to yeild. that sounds like torque until the bolt breaks, i dont think you wanna do that.
