torque specs on head

Default torque specs on head

i just need to know some torque specs real quick cuz i dont have a helms for the motor that i am putting together. it is a b16a3...i know most of the torque numbers, but i need to know what to torque the rocker arm assembly bolts to (all 20 of them that are under the valve cover).

60 ft/lbs? that seems waaaaay too high. im talking about the little bolts, the 10mm ones that you have to take off to get to the camshaft. not the head bolts. that seems like the spec for the head bolts.

8mm bolts are 20ft-lbs, and the 6mm bolts on the end of each side are 7.5 ft-lbs

make sure you torque in sequence starting from the inside and move out in a criss cross pattern

those bolts arent 8mm, they are 10mm

If you are using STOCK headbolts, it is 61ft-lbs.. if you are using ARP headbolts, then whatever it says on the box is what you are supposed to torque them to.
