i just purchased a 96 gsr, and there is a little black button to the left of the steering wheel, right around the little compartment, i was just wondering if anyone knows what this might be for or what it was used for at one point, ive pushed it and havent noticed anytihng to happen, if anyone could help me out on this it would be great....Thanks

 

cruise control?

 

its probably for your alarm.....do u have one ?

 

sun roof?

 

the button is for cruise control,
and theres a 2 directional button/switch for the sunroof.

 

cruise and sunroof on the dash..thats it..must be an aftermarket alarm or something

 

I have that same black button you're talking about. It's right above the coin thing on the left side. I assumed it was for a valet sort of thing. Mine doesn't do anything either.

 

yea alright, i was just wondering if it was for an alarm or some ****, the car has that little red light in the top of the steering column too, my 1990 accord ex also has this little light so i dont know what to make of it, the thing never blinks or anyhting
