wanna be more specific as to wut car and driving style you have? goals, suspension wise?

im guessing you want something comfortable for a daily driver but yet you can do a lil weekend road warrior driving. for sleeveovers id suggest groundcontrol, you can get some custom spring rates to fit your needs. also pickup some koni yellow shocks, itll make your car so much more funner to drive, but if you are on a tight budget try skunk2s. the cheapest place i saw skunk2s are http://www.rms-usa.com i saw them for 279.99. grab some kyb agxs to compliment the sklunk2s. oh yeah skunk2s are adjustable too

now to full bodied coilovers id suggest some zeals. word of mouth says that they are soft as springs wen set at softest setting and wen you crank it up, you get a really nice stiff ride but livable. but if you dont wanna fork out 1500 bux or dont know anyone to hook you up i suggest d2s or ksports. i got my ksports at a good price frmo bodykitsnw here on ht. i use these for daily driving but i love to hug turns every chance i get, nothing to complain about these coilovers. you can get custom spring rates for most/all full bodied coilovers. hope this helps, if you have any questions feel free to ask

ya what car, what do you want to do with the car and most importantly, whats your budget. coilovers go from $820 for Koni/GC to $1550 for Tein RA...and everything in between.

Tein Flex, Tein SS, Tein RA (very damn stiff), Buddy Club N+, Buddy Club Racing-Spec, Koni/GC, D2, K-Sport, Zeal, Neuspeed, H&R....there are so many coilovers we just need alot more info. Some have softer rates while others are extremely stiff, so whats the car going to be used for, daily driving and auto-x or both?

I am also in the market for coil overs. I plan on auto X as much as much as i can and daily driving my 95 Del Sol. I m thinking of going With the Buddy Club N+ spec. They are 12k Front 6k rear and are 15 way adjustable. I can get them for 800 with out pillow ball mounts. My 3 major questions are...quality of the buddy club, ride, and if it is worth spending a 1000 for them with pillow ball mounts? thanks

I'd like to see all 15 ways of adjustability, as well as these pillow-ball mounts' performance gains on your car. I doubt you'd find either one.

What do you mean? You don't believe in the benefit of either?

I can relate to not being into the n-ways of adjustability, as I have found the simple full soft in front and full hard in rear as my optimal settings when autocrossing.

The quicker steering-response and solidity of the pillowball upper mounts was oh-so-good to me.

in that case Tein Flex (504F/280R) or Tein SS (448F/224R) would suit your needs well. The SS has softer rates, but they are pretty much the same rate wise. 504lb-in sounds like a heavy spring, but on a coilover with adjustability, you can set it at full soft and it should definately be ok...still won't be the same as GC at 250 or 300 though and the yellows at full soft.

Other options are D2, Megan Racing or of course the GC/Koni but with GC softer rates, something like 300F/200R. Something with adjustability since you'd probably want it on 90% soft settings.

If you don't want to use the suspension for auto-x and don't want to feel every bump in the road, you want a softer set-up...which the Tein Flex should provide (search for more feedback on them)

You have a suspension that will benefit from the pillowballs, unlike most older hondas. The ones with double wishbone will have nill effect with pillowballs.

Ah, interesting ... I am rather narrow-minded having been tuning my RSX for almost a year now. Damn I wish I had those A-arms!

Regarding the above referral to the TEIN Flex, as an owner of them I would agree that you will be able to achieve a great ride with the proper settings, but there must be something out there that is much cheaper than a $1600 setup that will provide the same ride quality. Furthermore, it sounds like you don't have a need for the dampening adjustability. Konis it is?

Tein Basics are a waste of money. There are plenty of affordable coilovers out there. Pic, Omni, Ksport, D2's.

It really is a matter of preference. Ask the questions you want answers to. Do a lil research and ask each company what you want to know about. Each company out there has something to offer I believe. I'd love to say we are the best, but you won't ever actually hear those words from me cause this is Drama Tech LOL. Like I said, there is a lot of information in the suspension forum and a lot of people that will be glad to help you. You have quite a selection. Just ask questions. Also provide us with more info

I just ask you to watch out. Because lately I have seen a lot of post about D2, Tein, Omni...offering a harsh bouncy ride. Damn, I think there are 2-3 topics of what I am talking about right now! That is the reality of it, these rates are somewhat generic. If anyone on this site actually believes that 1 or 2 standard off the shell rates is going to work for everyone then they have no business buying coilovers. You might as well go on ebay and buy yourself some maxspeed coilovers. If I just wanted to make a buck off the Ksports for example then I would push the standard rates more, but the bottom line is, we want our customers to get the ride quality they are looking for, but at a affordable price. But even at that affordable price they want to try to convice themselves that the standard rate will work for them, and they just look for the cheapest ksport setup out there. Sorry guys, but that's not the case, and in the end you might be the one making the post about your ride being harsh, and bumpy. So again, take the time to ask the questions, and spend the lil extra money for something that is going to work for you. There are only a few guys on honda-tech that really know what they are talking about, and I respect and learned a lot from. You got Eibach, PIC, and many others on here.

Good luck, and post us some more info.

If I read correctly you have a RSX. Well like some of the people have stated, your car can actually benefit from a upper pillowball upper mount. I know we offer them standard. PIC you have a RSX application?

I don't have any experience with the Omni and D2's. I have tested the Ksports on the our Shop RSX for about 2 months now. Also the owner of Ksport owns a actual DC5 ITR. So we have gotten quite a bit of information and research with that application.

Nope, no RSX kit ready to release. You know we've run into that problem with those steering arms cocked at all sorts of odd angles if you lower the car too much, and haven't found a satisfactory way around it yet, while still providing independent height adjustment via the lower mount like we would like to have it.
