Default ***Video*** JRSC 95 GSR compilation

here's a quick compilation i threw together, called 'Version 1.0' ... it's all old footage from over the summer and when i first got the car (bought it supercharged) I've since ditched the blower and the stock bottom end for a blox intake manifold and a sleeved B16 .. peak boost kit is here, goes in for install/tune on Tuesday. Looking for 300-350 whp on a moderate tune ... but i'm going back up in a few months with a 255lph fuel pump, some headwork, full-race IM, and some race gas to see what she's got.

--Quick description of the vid--
Roughly 11 mb, 2:20 sec. .wmv file
A shot of the motor, me at the track 13.8@100 missing 4th, me vs supercharged z24 on the streets, in car footage @ track ... 13.7or8 w/ passenger, 13.62 run @ track, shot of built block fresh out of the package, sneak peak as to what's to come

Version 2.0 coming shortly ... and 3.0 w/ some race gas shortly after that :D
Hope you guys like it.

that's why i got rid of it ... Those times are all with a junked ignition system, non functioning BTM, and quite a few other things messed up from the previous owner that i didn't realize until i pulled the motor. But still - the times are about right for my area ... a guy w/ a jrsc gsr 5th gen coupe pulls 13.4-5 all day. I'm not exactly sea level either hah. After fixing the ignition system, installing the block, clutch and flywheel ... I pulled a 13.7 @ 105 at a track that is consistantly 3-5 tenths higher than the track where all that footage was taken place... w/ a lower displacement, lower compression block.

Not saying it was fast by any means.... but i felt like throwing some old footage together before the car gets its **** together in upcoming weeks.

Thanks for the comments guys. I used Ulead Studio 8 ... There are still a few things i've got to figure out, but i'm trying as I go along hah. 2nd video probably won't be done until the weather gets nice ... PA winter + Road Salt + Significant power and drag radials = traction issues. Hpefully I'll have a lot of footage of some of my friends cars also ... should be 2 k swaps happening early spring

There are a lot of people at that track that don't know what to do ... as far as staging goes at least... There is a local shop that brought 2 of their cars up there ... they clear up at the tree ... rather than where the staging lights were ... douchebags hah

Default Re: (undercoverdc2)

I'm using a Sony Handycam DCR-TRV460 .. it's a bit outdated now, and sometimes the quality isn't all that great - but it does the job ... and i'm WAY too cheap to buy a new one hah.

undercoverdc2 - I just used the fmu that is supplied with the jackson kit (4:1 maybe ... its been a while, can't remember) and an MSD BTM on stock timing... just trial and error on the streets ... if it broke up, i messed with the btm setting ... if it ran fine, it ran fine haha.

And yes - that green integra is mine ... it's the same car. I traded my stock block and blower to my boss for the JDM HID front end and a raise... I bought the car supercharged with all the stuff that was done to it in those videos... only thing left now is the suspension and that's going soon as well. I bought the block a month after i bought the car, installed it last february and got the car painted/converted in july.

SSBPGSR - I always wanted to try premiere ... but ulead's been doing the trick. I heard premiere is pretty easy to use as well.
