Im currently working on my 5th g accord how do you get the 4 flange bolts behind the hub unit? I cannot take those out even with a 10mm or 12mm socket wrench. I removed the boot, axle nut, front hub nut. I need some help quick thanks in advance.
According to Chiltons', you must remove the Hub/bearing assembly to replace rotors, etc. Prior to '96, the rotors just pulled off from the lug studs.
You've got a strike against you if you have no manual, another if you don't have the proper tools and pullers.
It could be more economical to have someone else do it this time.

are u trying to replace the rotor i presume??? to remove those 4 bolts u need a 10mm 12 point socket, remove the axle form the car it will give u a lot more room to work with,, to remove axle, remove the 36mm nut , remove the lower control arm ( ball joint ) cotter pin and castle nut, get a big hammer, hit the control arm right below ball joint thus separate ball joint from arm , lift knuckle assembly up, swing it to the side, get a big screwdriver and pop the axle out of the tranny, remove axle from car , slide it out it will fit through the fork , once axle is out u got all the room u need to remove those 4 bolts,

I do have a manual, a Haynes but I read before that they are crap.
The haynes manual told said to take off axle nut, front 4 hub bolts, move LCA a little bit, and take out the rear 4 flange bolts. I could't even move the 4 flange bolts even with a 10 or 12mm offset wrench. Im going to try to remove the axle out from the transmission today thanks a lot.

I've read this many times prior to the brake job. The tutorial does not show how to remove the 4 flange bolts behind the hub unit. They show a picture with the wheel bearing out with the rotor and hub.

I do have a manual
Thanks for looking out. Only problem is they don't exactly show. They have pictures with the hub and rotor together but not on the car.

Are you sure? I believe I have to pull out the four flange bolts behind the hub unit prior to when I should pull out the hub. Right now I have the axle nut, four front flange bolts, Calipers, and Caliper mounts off. Still waiting on how I would fit a 10/12mm wrench in there.

I was trying to remove the four bolts without removing the axle but I took out the axle like 1 hour ago thanks. I was trying to avoid excessive work. Then I realized I had no choice but to remove the axle as you suggested.

You don't need to remove the axle though. Craftsman makes this offest head 12 point 10mm wrench that slides right in there. Simply push back the protective axle boot and slide the wrench in there. But, since you already have the axle out, it won't be a problem now.....
