Its a SOB to brake it loose. Keep trying with the breaker bar and get a cheater bar. Its torqued to 181 ft. lbs so it's not gona break loose without a fight. Give er hell!

not true I had a 1000 ft lbs impact gun didnt even move the bolt.
best advice is to grab something beefy like a 4 feet 3/4 driver with a long extension and 3/4 19mm sockets and suppor the extension with a jack or something so that the extension doesnt wooble and push down on
that sucker.

Did you just run the gun for a second? Just sit there with the impact gun on. It'll come off eventually.

Nope, I held my gun on it for several minutes and it did not budge.
You act like you're surprised that the gun didn't get it off. I've tried it on 4 cars now, and the impact gun has not worked for me yet. I guess it depends upon the age of the car and where you live in the country too. Like I said on my "crank pulley advice" page, different things work for different people.

only thing that works for me is lots of good bolt buster spray, 3/4" breaker bar, 4' pipe on that, and a moroso crank pulley tool lodged against the floor so it cant move and pull for all your worth!

heck yeah I was going at it forever with the impact Gun I even try tighten it and then reverse it back out.. didnt even happen. I spray Liquid Wrench and even heated it up still nothing happen. You can only go for so long with a Impact gun before you run out of air and wait for the air to come back or before you the gun get so hot that its going to blow a seal.

Sounds like a pain in the ****. When i took my stock cat off in this texas heat it had actually wielded the bolts to the nuts, and I didnt have enough lift to use more than an 18" breaker... anyways i ended up getting so pissed off I used my foot leverage and my hands pushing on the back wheels and tore the bolts in half. Hows that for man v metal.
I dont recommend doing this on the crank tho
Anyways good luck

Saying "****" makes it sound like you're from England like me.
Yeah, it's not just people in Texas that have that problem. When I put headers in my Lude, the bolts were so corroded together on my Cat, I just threw the whole lot out and put a test pipe on instead! lol
