Integra GSR knuckle same as 94 Civic Knuckle? Brake swap
Okay so i have the complete Knuckles off of an 97 integra gsr on my 94 civic...
But when i went to go align it they said that the knuckle was bent so they wernt able to align it correctly...
My question is can i just swap over all the brake components ie caliper, rotor etc...over to my old 94civic knuckle?
Thanks

no. you will not be able to swap the integra rotors and calipers onto the civic knuckle. the rotors is slightly bigger on the teg, therefore the caliper is further out... so it wont mate up.
my recommendation, go to a shop that knows what they are doing.
also, i did the integra swap onto my hatch, and got it aligned no problem. the geometry might slightly different, but if you are lowered like me, then a camber kit solves any of that trouble. good luck.

What model civic are we talking about? Ex, abs (the 10" rotors) you can use your civic knuckle. The smaller dx size (9" rotor'd) knuckles you cannot use.
Any knuckle from an integra, civic ex, civic abs (pre-96 civics), or del sol vtec will work fine.

I concur

Im talking bout the 94 civic CX hatch... so when you say pre-96 you mean pre-96 and civic with ABS right...so I guess mine wont work then huh?
Damn that sucks..

well...yours wont work because you have the 9" rotors and the knuckle is too small anyway.
I wasnt thinking correctly, when I said pre-96, because of the change in upper control arm design... but that doesnt matter for knuckles. (92-01 knuckles will work as long as theyre from a car w/ the correct brakes)
Just get a civic ex/abs, integra, or del sol vtec knuckle to replace it. Not hard to come by, really
