Which hood is better? I have a vis but it is faded really bad. I'm either going to paint it or buy a new one. Just wondering which one was better.

no h asnt faded yet. advice to anyone that buys a carbon fiber hood.. just get it re clear coated. they say they put uv rise protection on the hood before they sell them but the factory clear coat sucks so get it re clearcoated and you will never have the problem of fading.

Seibon. Some local guys and myself did a Vis group buy last year, and it SUCKED.
One... They refused to send the group of 40+ hoods for over a month, I forgot the whole story, but some lady in there office fucked our order up big time, but it finally got figured out and we got the hoods.
Mine is a 92-95 Civic OEM hood, their highest weave option, highest price I could have paid, and has 3 large (large = 1 square inch) weave mishaps. Granted the edges are still in GOOD shape, it's got a little dimple near the intake manifold, had problems mounting window sprayers, and its got a LITTLE oxidation of clearcoat near the headlights.
A friend of mine ordered a 99-00 Civic OEM from Seibon, and it is PERFECT. Cost $75 more than what I paid, but it's damn nice.
