I am planning on buying a hood for my Eg6 just dont knoe which one to buy either the VIS or the carbon fiber images, but i am leaning more on the carbon fiber images hood. I am looking for a light weight but good quality hood, which ever is better. PLEASE anyone any of these hoods tell me how much you like it and not like it. Thanks pyeace

How can you beat a Fiber Images hood? They ran over those damn things and still didnt break.

Still saying JDMshit.com.....but Fiber Images does have that non breaking thing going down. I would venture a guess that the clear coat will get screwed up if a rock hits it just like any other....and JDMshit is cheaper.

I have a Fiber images hood for my 95 hatch and it fits great. My friend has a VIS carbon fiber hood for his 00 cavaqueer and it's an inch higher than the fender on one side.

P.S. I can call his car a cavaqueer because he's my friend and he spent $1000 to get one of those double gay spoilers that was supposed to fit on a honda, so i don't wanna hear anyone complain.

I don't know which one is better but I would look into the Jdmshit.com hoods. All their products I have seen fit very well. And you can't beat $379 shipped. You may get a good deal on another hood but factor in how much they will be charging you for shipping.

Ive heard many positive things about JDMShit hoods.

I have a BKNW (Body Kits NorthWest) its pretty crappy. Fitment is ok. And its cool how I have all these little air bubbles in the finish....oh wait no, that sucks. And the frame is pretty much completely seperated from the hood itself so bad its scarring (first it removed the finish off my valve cover now its actually grinding away at the valve cover itself) the valve cover.

When I buy another hood I will go somewhere I can actually look into the sales persons eyes to see if they're really into the products they sell or if there scammers. Plus I would like to see the fitment right off the bat.

are you sure its not a "vis imitation"? my friend had one, it was the same design as vis and was supposed to be the same quality too. the frame separated from the top within about two months.
