how many of you have an h22a in your crx?
i am looking for your opion on it. i want to now how the car handles the accel in it and the type of power you have going to it.
ok retards the search comes up 2 pages and all consist of are help with my h22a motor or is it to big or is it to heavy i want to know how they are running if you have nothing to contribute to this leave it alone why do you guys have to such b*tches about this.
i have one
the weight is perfectly fine.. dont let Honda-Tech fool you into thinking that H22A's are extreemly heavy and/or 'weak' *eyeroll* - talk to the people who own them, expecially the h22a-civic guys..
it's extreemly fun on the hiway and accels like an sob. Stock JDM w/ intake/header/clutch/slicks your looking at high 12's without even trying. I hit 13.7 in my 88 CRX w/ body kit.. normal no name street tires/street trim with a 2.4 60ft - was my first time drag racing in a couple years and i had some major issues to work out such as slipping clutch and a few engine codes and a very cockeyed alignment due to the camber kit slipping..
here's an interesting thread.

thank you for the info people. I like to do autocross i just wanted to make sure the h22a would be to much for the little crx. I am thinking i will need an lsd for my setup.

should be good with LSD - I dont have bad tq steer with my lsd/axle setup.. the axles ended up being .25" off of equal length.
Best tranny for you would be the F20B tranny from a JDM accord..
