H22 CRX, H22A CRX, H-Series CRX, 2point2 CRX pics(search friendly)56k no go!

Pics of 2point2's ****. Enjoy...
Don't act smart if you see this in your rearview..

The paint job..
No key... 8)

Rear crossmember - look at the knotch. This is how 2point2 got rid of his fuse box..
Front crossmemer - one of a kind. 2point2 made it out of cardboard first!!
I want this rad/fan setup!!! (duel core)
all motor - for now
Drivers side mount.. 2point2 getting nuts with cardboard again!! hahahaha..
Still learning how to weld...
Tight fit!!! he wanted the engine back FAR.
The alternator bracket was machined down
the dip stick had to be bent a bit
She's a thirsty bitch..
The things you have to do for perfection. Should have took pictures of all the strings/wood/carboard 2point2 used to line this bitch up.
this aint no b-series!!!!
The pitch...
like a glove..
after all the time converting to obd1 - gotta protect it.
a little dusty from the body shop.. the bracket is welded from underneath so the interior wouldn't have to be cut.
Modified h22a bracket to fit CRX throttle cable..

it looks really nice, great job!!!
i wish i had the time, money and patience to do something like this. good idea taking all the glass out for painting...masking around the windows just isnt worth it. i wish i had done that in the first place.
i have to go change my underwear now.

The air yur breathin' must be thin.
the stock driverside is alot thiner. I'll weld in a gusset just for you.
Take another look, there is a pic of the rear crossmember.

BAHAHA... tell them they have to weld. that'll scare them away - much harder then putting on stickers and CAI.

H22 motor
obd1 conversion
crossmember
custom axles
rad/fan
too lazy to add it up 8) I'm sure it ends up being quite a bang for the buck when all is said and done.. and it's still got HUGE potential.

I did not get what you ment by that and was curious what you were talking about. Anyways nice setup, I am interested to see what kind of times it will pull.

Have a good look at that pic, you can see how the CM is cut out for the tranny to sit farther back.. you HAVE to do this to get the axles nice and strait - don't let anyone else too you otherwise.
The other thing you'll notice in that pic is the huge wad of wires in that loom, alot of those wires inside that loom used to go to the fuse box. now they go inside the car behined the glovebox - where the fusebox is now. I've always liked the look of a clean engine bay.
Thanks for explaining that. What are you guys gonna do when you have to change something on it ? Say the timing belt or intake mani ?

I probably put the motor in and pulled it out 50 times already. wont take more more than 2 hours to have it yanked out again (now that it's all together) - another benifit to keeping it clean in the engine bay.

it says "all motor for now
" gonna turbo it next? or bottle feed it? never the less, i'm shure that baby screams down the road.
Thanks for posting that.
This should help answer all the questions from people who think all they need is an engine mount kit and they are done.
I have seen it done before, and the guy was running mid 13's with a basically stock motor.

This did not happen over night. I take school very seriously and don't have alot of time and money to spend on my crx. I've been working on it slowly over the last couple years. I would say set aside two solid weeks of working on it everyday after work/school if anyone is going to attempt this swap. take your time and DO IT RIGHT because i'll flame you!
Just goes to show that it's not all about money - it patience. go a little bit faster now, or a hell of alot faster later.
ohh.. i drove around in POS civic hatches for the last 2 years.

I see that you are using a hydro tranny but I never saw a clutch master cylinder under the hood. How are you actuating the salve cylinder or are you converting to cable?
