Hey i baught my car as a theft recovery and the motor was stolen and the ***** cut the plugs off out of the firewall ..i got another plug and soldered most of the wires as as they were the same colours but now i have a problem ..i have some duplicat colours ...
heres what i got
on the cars harness side i have
2 yellow/green
2 black/yellow
2 blue
on the plug im attaching i have
2 yellow/green
2 black/yellow
1 blue
are both yellow/green wires the same values so are they interchangeable
same question as above with the black/yellow wires
and my cars harness has 1 more blue are bothe blue wires the same in which case i hook 1 up to my plug

on the wires that have the same color are they like green with a yellow stripe or yellow with a green stripe, cause they might look the same but in reality they ore completely different, and just to clarify, thats a huge cluster **** you go there

and yes this is a cluster **** but wiring doesnt scare me ...wiring with out a manual scares me

 

I thought all the yellow and blacks on the drivers side were all 12V Power sources for all the sensors?

The wires that are the same colors should have a small circle on them. The small circle will be a different color. The wires will all have different color cicles for the ones that are the same. This shows that they are for a different part of the same circuit. Hope this helps. I had the same problem under my dash tracing an electrical problem luckily my good friends dad is an electrician .

Edit: The marks are usually silver and brown or only one will have the silver. And if this doesn't help i think it would just be easier to get a new harness from the salvage yard.
