oil leak. Got Screwed by mechanic!
i went to change my oil at grease monkey, which is just like a jiffy lube, and they change my filter and oil and all that good stuff. Next think i know the next morning i went to start my car to warm it up cuz i live in cold *** washington, i come out 5 minutes later and all my oil is on the ground. There wasn't a drip on my dip stick!
So i take it to a shop and they told me it was my "oil filter adapter o-ring" and it would only cost a 100 bucks to fix. i saw my oil filter and it was just spitting oil out when it ran, and when it didnt run it was dripping perrety bad. From what i know is if a shop charges you 100 bucks to fix anything, it'll take them 5 minutes and is somethin i could do.
What im going to do tomorrow is take my car back to greasy monkey and try to chew them out amd make them fix it because personally, i think they screwed me hardcore, i think they messed it up. I just wanted to get some opinions on the matter becuase im just sick of all this.

They're trying to hustle you on labor, but it's probably not their fault it went bad.
It's pretty common.
If you have a Carquest in your area, the part number is 72229.
It's easy to fix if you have your own tools
