Terms??
Since I'm new to this whole scene mainly into thirdgen Firebirds/Camaro's "Thank God for TPI" :thumbup What does LS mean in LS Vtec?? I have a 98 Lude non SH H22A4 DOHC 2.2L VTEC. I did notice that there are many different terms that are used like Type R, GSR etc. Can some explain some of the terms that are used.
You are about to catch hell for that question! Please read the forum rules and utilize the search function in the upper right corner of your screen. LS is a term given to the engines that come from Integra LS, GS, and RS the engine block code will be either B18A or B18B. Good luck, welcome to hell... I mean Hondatech
LS is a non-VTEC Integra, Type R is a the badass 'racing' version of many of Honda's cars, and GSR is a VTEC Integra....that's my basic knowledge, anyhow....
At least you got VTEC right

"Catch Hell" This should be fun. My whole life I've been into American Muscle and not imports. So this is a new experiance for me. Glad to see people here helping out the new guy. Thanks
People on HT that have been here for some time are proud of their knowledge and the fact that they searched for most of it and found it on their own time. As time goesn by you'll see what I mean, this is the best Honda tech-related site I have found though.
