Default Will 2/3 dr front bumper fit on a 4 door civic

like the topic states..............bout to get my car painted and thought about puttin the 2/3 dr front bumper on instead of the 4 door bumpers. i need to buy a new fr bumper anyway and wanted to see just what all needed to be done.
i have searched but came up empty, and i have seen it done before just can't remember who or where.

pretty sure you have to have the 2/3 dr front corners also, but what about the fr fenders, and the hood do these things have to be changed also....?

any help is greatly appreciated

no
you need to swap the whole front clip just like 99-00 front conversion on a 96-98 and weld he fenders from both models together (cut in half)

you can do it... it has been done but you have to remove the bumper support bar and heat the corners to pull them back for correct alignment. or you can go the long route like i did and cut the inside of a 2dr bumper out and use the outer shell of the 4dr bumper and with alot of epoxy, fiberglass, bondo, and headace's (lol) youll get er dun...

http://washingtondc.craigslist....html

thats my eg with the 2dr front bumper...

so i guess all you'd need is the 2/3 bumper and corners then just modify the bumper to fit right......

hey man do you have anymore pics of your car.....?

would really like to more pics of that front end if you've got em

thanks

im pretty sure all u need to do is get the 2/3 door fenders, corners, and bumper, and everything will bolt right up.

you do not need to cut 2 fenders and weld together when putting a 99-00 civic front end on the 96-98. everything bolts right up. the only time u cut 2 fenders and weld together is when you put the 99-00 or 96-98 front end on a 92-95.
