Default How come no one makes a 99-00 style front bumper to fit 96-98 civics????

As stated in the title.

I think the majority would agree that the 99-00 bumper is a tad nicer. Wouldn't there be a huge market for a bumper that gave you the look of 99-00 without having to do a front end conversion?? The bumper could even have a built in lip as an option..

If such a bumper exists let me know

na the 99 front is totally different. its a sharper front. the lights looks better because its not as round.

we know this... he's just curious why someone hasnt come up with the bright idea of making an aftermarket front bumper cover that FITS a 96-98 but has the same stlye as the 99-00's. yes the lights are slightly different (and sleeker), but i bet plenty of people would deal with that considering they could buy a new bumper cover ($200) instead of a new bumper cover, fenders, hood, grill, and headlights.

Someone once made a 99-00 Si style front for a 92-95 Civic, I'm SURE SOMEONE made a 99 front end look that goes to a 96. I got a 96 and I'm with ya, the 99 is the better front.

All i got 2 say is that the 99-00 Si front end is ten thousand times better looking the the 96-98, I just threw on my front end and im in love.

lol.. I'm glad someone else thinks it's a good idea.

I have never actually been able to compare both bumpers side-by-side (off of the car). Who knows, maybe their quite different..

anyways.. just an idea.

size wise, the 99 Civic is like .4 inches longer or somethin because of the front (and maybe rear) bumper. THe 99 has those side slits for fogs and a smaller mouth for the radiators

why are all 99-00 front bumpers refered to as si? the bumper itself is the same on all the 99-00 civics.. just the grille is different. it just has a lower lip.

same goes for like 99-00 tails.. everyone says si taillights.

no id need the 2000 bumper, fenders, hood, headlamps, and radiator support. Not worth my money unless someone wants to trade for mine, then id do it, like if someone likes the 96 front more than the 99.
