Default What's the thread pitch for this oil feed?

its a T3/T4e if that helps. so far i put a male -3AN and a 1/8 NPT in there and they both seem to fit the same, but i want the correct fitting for it.

i checked Flamenco-T's thread and it didn't state it.

it should be 1/8npt. Do not use -3an, they are not intended for sealing that way.

are you guys positive? because i'm trying to screw in a 1/8NPT and it doesn't even go in all the way. it gets stuck like halfway through.

pipe thread is tapered, so as you tighten it is gets tighter. Usually you can only get it in like 5 or 6 turns. your all set. just don't overtighten it or it will strip.

ok i'll just thread in the 1/8" NPT then. maybe i'll use teflon tape too, but i just hear stories of it getting sucked through the system and then clogging a line.

start the tape a few threads up or use the paste type of white pipe sealant. Or you can use RTV silicone sealant/adhesive.
