P28 ECU, LS Chassis, GSR MOTOR, wiring VTec help!
ok just got P28 ECU, installed with jumper harness
99 integra LS
ran wire from A4 to vtec solenoid
ran wire from D6 to oil pressure switch...
still no vtec, dont know why, p28 is chipped with stock GSR settings
question #1, check engine light is still on, is this going to affect the activation of vtec...... even though i know it has something to do with the intake being off the manifold....
question #2 the car kind of hiccups between 1500 and 2000 RPMS , i think this is due to the vtec not being active... is this true>?
question #3 maybe i have the ground and positive mixed on the pressure switch, is top ground or is the bottom pin ground in the oil pressure switch>?
sorre for the noob questions....

Re: P28 ECU, LS Chassis, GSR MOTOR, wiring VTec help! (g0tgot)
1) Not having an intake pipe doesn't throw a CEL.
2) No.
3) The pressure switch is the large green plug on the VTEC solenoid.
Cel 10 is IAT, 14 is IACV, 22 is VTEC pressure switch.
Why on earth would you install a chipped ECU when you could cheaply/easily get the factory ECU?

the bad= the IAT and IACV plugs were swapped, IAT is fried
The good = P28 is not fried
the ugly = VTEC kicks azz on this motor....
