Default JDM b16 in eg...starts up but after 5 mins dies??? help!!

Hey...my car just started having this problem. New batt and had alt checked today and is fine. Car starts up...runs fine then about 5-6 mins later everything starts getting dimmer untill the car just finely dies, almost like the alt. isnt charging my battery. Everything seems to be in good working order untill it starts loosing juice somewhere...

Anyone else have this problem?? or have an idea on why its doin that?

there is a white wire from alternator and it is suppose to connect to positive battery terminal. that was what happened to me before..just like your situation

yeah we have the same exact engine and it was my mistake..u are right..those two plugs..the black one and green ones connects to a whole bunch of wires with black plastic cover but it should have one thick single wire that has terminal like the pic shown below that i took 5 mins ago....and is your engine harness come with the engine or ?? uncut?? cause mine harness comes with jdm engine and complete uncut...oem b16a sir II harness

crazyguy knows his **** about these motors. Looks like you are missing that wire for sure. Also, make sure your battery is good to go after this wire is hooked up. Your battery is probably drained.

no.if it is cut..try to extend it with the proper connector and wire...dont just wire it to alternator directly..
