combo + winter
Sup guys...
Looking to buy some new rims + tires. Got a 92 civic dx hatch with 13" VX wheels.
I'm looking to get 15" with either 205/50/15 or 195/50/15. Which tire would be better for those tires? Anyone got pics on an EG civic?
Also, how much can I drop the hatch with this setup? Is 2" pushing it? I'm planning on an AGX setup with either coilovers or H&R springs (either sport or race, depending on the tires and rubbing issues).
Also, what's a good width for the tire? I'd like to get the tire as wide as possible without having any rubbing problems. I think the current one is a 5". So I'm thinking either 6, 6.5 or 7". Which width is available the most as far as tires go?
Also, here's the tricky part. I'd like to be able to swap rims/tires during the winter which is no problem really until I do my brake upgrade. I have the 9.x smaller rotors and calipers on the DX. I'd like to swap those for the EX rotors/calipers which are 10.2 or something like that. I know my 15" rim will clear that rotor/caliper but if I want to put the 13" VX wheel back on during the winter, will that clear the EX rotor/caliper?
Thanks everyone! Much appreciated!

195/50-15 will be better for your Civic.

With most 195/50-15 tires, you can use anything from a 15x5.5 to a 15x7. I would get 15x6, so the tires don't look "stretched" onto the rim.
