tig torch help
what torches are u guys running here. i just looked at a hole **** load on line and i have no idea what would be good for me. i want one for basic stuff where there are no tight places etc. and a i want a smaller one for the tighter spots. i also want to be able to get the "long" narrow cones for both torches to get down into collectors and stuff like that. i saw 9's, 10's, 16's, 17's, 24's, 26's could anyone give some insight on what differs in these torches? they were a CK torches by the way.
Bigger numbers = bigger torch.
I have an air cooled #17.
I hear a flex head #9 is mint for tight places. I think there was a post called "check out my new torch" or something like that which had pics of a super small flex head torch with a tiny as **** butt cap. I want one of those.

The normal torch is a CK 17. You are probably looking for lava nozzles for that long tip. The problem with that is that the nozzle is expensive and it does not fit a CK 17. Personally, just get a big cup and pull out the tungsten a bit.

You will need a lense to do that effectively as well.
