Taking the front rad support off any suggestions?
I thought i would post it in here cause of fabrication correct me if im wrong on a 97 honda civic i got into a accident into the front and the radiator support is all bent up i want to take it off to put a new one in i see tack weilds on it just drill them someone said chisel it help please. Thanks for youe time.

most people just drill them out with a regular bit because thats the easy way, using a spot weld bit is the right way to do it but they get expensive when you start snapping them. go to your locl auto paint supply store and they should have the right one in stock.

yes, the downside to doing it liek that is that you now have to fill a whole when you tack it back together where as the rigt tool only drills the spot on the side your removing.
