Default small or big problem?

I have an itr manifold that had an bolt broken inside were the fuel rail bolts up. In the event of getting it out I got cocky and put a screw extractor inside the hole I drilled inside the bolt and broke it (****). After that happened I then tried to drill the extractor out with a titanium drill bit (titanium extractor also) that was also a failure. What should I do to get this back in shape to expect the bolt that I have to put inside this hole? Im not worried about it never coming back out of the manifold either, this has been an on-going battle for at least 2 months and im determened to win....

Any help is greatly apperciated http://home.comcast.net/~tecgoblin22/000_0167.JPG Pic here!!

maybe you could heat the manifold, correct me if im wrong but aluminum expands when it heats up, so you could heat it with a torch and try and extract it. that would make it much easyer

I agree your in quite the pickle.

heat it up aluminum will expand faster and farther than steel. this is your best bet.

if worse comes to worse cut it off and fab up a piece of aluminum block and weld it in place!

Take a washer with a hole slighlty smaller then that stud and place it over the stuck stud, then place a nut ontop of the washer and fill the nut full with a weld puddle. Then just try taking a breaker bar to the nut and it should come out.

Just weld a new stud on there.

if its what I think it is, I'd cut out everything that's screwed, then weld a new bung in place. I wouldn't bother screwing around with heating aluminum, if you heat it too much it'll turn to mush.

Just grind the end of the new stud into almost a point and just like tack weld all the way around it.
