That is where engine management comes into play. Boost cut saves motors.

kinda like a rev limit when you overboost. Like you can set it at 12 psi, when you only want to boost to 10, if it goes above 12, it will cut.

what ems does that? I have aem ems were do I set boost cut in it?

as far as i know,all the EMSs have it.maybe somebody more familiar with working with them can tell you how to activate and set it up.
