Agreed. If you were humble about it I'd just say nice setup. But to strike your ego down to the ground...

1. XSPower turbo
2. Slow down, some spots got very little argon coverage because you were rushing the welds
3. Have fun routing vacuum lines within 1-2 inches of the primaries for the wastegate
4. Exhaust gas energy (read: heat) spools a turbo, you could have cut down on lag by using shorter primaries (they're not anywhere near equal length so 40' long runners are pointless) since they are towards the front of the car and are going to be cooled down from the air going through the radiator
5. Rubber oil drain hose within a couple inches of the exhaust
6. Do some prep work before welding
7. Nice '********' on some of your stops, ease off the pedal/add some filler

1 turbo is cheap works and makes acceptable power just not brand name boo hoo

2 wasnt using gas lens and dark coloring is only on surface a quick rub leaves nice shine

3 vacuum lines are fine probabally gonna run stainless tube

4 lag reduces wheel spin but as far as the runners needing to be equal length its not neary as important as on a n/a car just ask subaru i think they managed ok

5 drain hose has more than enough clearance

6 ???

7 as for the ******** ill admit there might be one or two dont know if they are on my manifold or not (joke)

and as for being humble take a pill sorry if ya cant take a little poke or two

looks good to me
only problem i see is the one "up" bend that looks like you cut the middle out of a U bend to make the tighter radius bend-where the two halves meet it's not a very smooth transition at all.using a tighter radius u or pie cuts instead of piecing the two bends would probably flow a lot better.

No offense but thats one of the worst imitations of a top mount manifold i've seen.

One of the main benefits behind the top mount is the absolutly equal length primaries which you've clearly negated by merging them immediately after the head flange.

So basically you have a top mount manifold without its pros, only its cons.

It sure does look cool, and thats important right?

Now post the manifold you built. I think he did a damn good job for the first one. Once again, ask the subbies about equal length.

as for the primaries being equal length are you blind or are you confusing them with the secondaries and untill you try to package all that into a stock chassis maybe you should take it easy or just post what you made thats better as for the benifits of a top mount there isnt much of a diff if it bends up or down as far as flow just a slight gain because the flow can equal out affter the downward bend of the ports that and i can run a damn filter on it

That manifold is sick!!! That's is all you should have put pictures of. Why would you show off your Taiwan made turbo that might last 500 miles and your ssautoshit can't hold boost fakegate. You even used a red velvet sheet in the background like their auctions on ebay. Do you work for SSautothiefs?

But either way, i like the manifold

When it comes to turbos there is no replacement for quality. Those XSPower turbos are made up of junk Garret parts that didn't pass inspection. Why do you think their so cheap?? The wastegate is one thing, but you can't skimp on the turbo. Especially if you want to make power and have it last. just my .02

i'd have to say that the quality of the work is great, but the functionality (read: efficiency) of such a manifold is questionable
