Default RHD conversion

i have a eg 95 coupe and im about to buy a 94 sir front clip, i was wondering if it would be possible just to weld it to my car as it is without swaping any firewalls and stuff? just cutting my currant car where the front clips starts and then welding the pilars and floorboards together

it would probally be just as hard to weld that front clip on. Also its would be alot safer to weld just the firewall in and whatnot.

If your going to do it, I would definetly swap the firewalls. The other way just seems unlogical in every sense.

When i first got her, put a few things on her and cleaned her up!

The way she looks now after changing a few things.

I won hottest JDM at this event!

My hatch was a firewall conversion. I do NOT recommend the front clip conversion. Have fun and enjoy! It is really fun driving, but drives thru's suck!

are those stickers in the center middle of the windshield?

Firewall conversion is MUCH more logical than welding in a front clip... even if you have the skill to do it right... working harder isn't always working better.

Most body shops repair rear qtr panels by using another entire qtr panel from a dif car but not a front (entire front) that is crazy. There would be no stability and if you did re-enforce it, it would be alot of work and alot of weight.

its a doable job.. but why?? Unless u work for the Post office and had to deliver mail in the rural areas.. hehe..

i've seen a camry at a salvage yard cut and pasted together.. they cut the damaged rear half off and welded up an undamaged rear end from a donor car.. the work was pretty cool and amazing, but I would not trust my life in such a car..

i think its worth it one reason is that it will challenge there ability in metal fabracation and wiring and when they are done they will be a better mechanic. there is one reason. the other reason is it would be somthing difrent that you dont se every day.

Theres alot of "why's" when people do car stuff. Why do people pay $600 for a spoon cluster? Why do people take out their airbags and put in a blockoff tray? It's just stupid to ask why. He wants to do it, as long as he does it safe, I dont see a problem with it. Get up some pics when you start it.

also if u think abuot it if your car runs and goes from point a to b there is really no point to do aneything to it put difrent engiens in them turbo them race seats new wheels its all pointless but its an obsession.
