Default Radiator Core

Im looking for places to buy radiator cores. I need more choices. Fabricators please tell me where you get aluminum cores. I dont want a custom size, just off the shelf to keep costs down.

BellIntercooler-way to ungodly expensive.
RonDavis-core cost more than prefab radiator
C&R-doesnt have the size I need.
Howe-awesome with great prices but doesnt have the size I need.
Local rad shops - worthless

Yeah I can def cut down something as long as the flange to flange measurement is what I need.

Active Radiator sounds great but they dont sell to the public, only distribute to shops. Im trying to get a quote from a local shop.

Any other ideas of someplace online where I can buy a core?

Griffin doesnt sell cores, period.

I was quoted 350 for an Active Radiator core through a local rad shop.
thats more than I want to spend because its a custom core, they dont have off the shelf sizes.

Howe has a limited set of standard core sizes that are much cheaper (100 - 150) but are still top notch quality. Just dont have a size that works for me.

I used to know a guy that works for Ron Davis, he says they buy pre-made radiators with the plastic end tanks, and they strip the tanks off and use the cores.

To conclude this thread I ended up ordering a core through Active Radiator. I went through a friend of mine who owns a shop. Funny thing is he didnt even have to prove his business by providing his biz license or anything.

I was able to choose any size and thickness, it was made to order. about $200

reminds me of buying parts from any generic parts store as well as any dealership. you tell them any shop name and automatically they spit out a 15% discount, haha.

when we buy autobody parts through parts channel, thats the only place that we actually had to set up an account with to get their business discount beings they only deal with businesses.
