That's the same fan I'm contemplating on getting, is it worth the hundred bucks, does it flow the 3000cfm it claims??
Can you do me a huge favor, measure how far the fan sticks out from the radiator... Thanks in advanced

Question out of curiosity, why not go with a VG trans?

check out this page:
http://perma-cool.com/Catalog/Cat_page16.html
the summit site has the flow wrong, 1650 is much more inline with what it should flow.
I measure about 4" depth required, permacool says 3 3/4". so figure 4" to be safe.
and as for the VG trans, i got one ready to go, just need to gather some funds to purchase the adapter plate/driveshaft

Is that 4 inches at the motor? I can't find any measurements for the frame part (the part marked in green)...
you going with the Mazwork kit?
I've always wanted to do a twin turbo v8 s14
they sell a complete kit for the vh45/vg trans, maybe one day

ill measure that part for you tomorrow and give you an exact dimension. and yes, the Mazworx kit is what i would use.

Thanks!
Thanks!
Fantastic build. After seeing many KA-Ts this is definently up there as one of my favorites.
I also like how you re-routed the brake lines directly into the compartment and away from the manifold.

Are you on zilvia?</TD></TR></TABLE>
my car will sit at 160-170 degrees in miami weather. even after a 1st-4th gear pull it warms up to maybe 180-190 and quickly cools down once I start cruising again.

You read that from some web page and you're regurgitating the information incorrectly. The copper/aluminum rad and altima fan setup was the best bang for the buck not the best cooling. I've never had any cooling issues with the numerous setups i've had while making more power than 99% of kat's out there so i fail to see where this overwhelming amount of heat being generated by the ka is evident.
must say this is one of the sickest street cars in south florida. car pulls off so hard..
