personally i'd rather drive a mint green VW bettle 1.8T piece of garabe then a Dodge Neon. they just look a bit queer.

i read that awd integra a while back in hondatunning mag. and i came up w/ my own idea, it might sound crazy but i think i can reach it. here i go... a 91 integra gutted, a k24 block and tranny k20a type s head, crv tranny with costom gears, and finally a superhandling awd rear differential from the acura rl. does that sound like i dream to much? i can do this all my self, and maybe a lil help from my dad, but tell me what you guys think, i wanna hear your thoughts as well...
The price of a custom cut gears set alone would be more than any DA costs brand new. next you seem to be forgetting that the sh-awd system uses input from something like 9 different sources and no less than 3 computers so unless your a low voltage god this is more than a little out of the DIY catagory

Are you hell bent on what powers it, because honestly I think the best way to go is RDX awd drivetrain. Other than that do a mitsuswap, might cost less.
My awd Ek 2.3 stroker hatch is killing it right now, yes its heavy at 2600lbs but it rides out with 651 awhp 560tq and traction isn't an issue.
