Default Mid-range manifold.

I built the manifold for a set-up that aim at mid-range power that allow quicker spool. The equal lenght manifold was out of the question due room issue and the later spool time, the external wastegate will be placed infront with an L. This will go on a bottom to top fully built b16 with a sc61 for now. I'm looking for constructive criticism on the manifold.

Here are the pics of the penetration

Any constructive criticism will be greatly appreciated.

Looks good, but I would have passed cylinder 2 and 3 over the top to the front and 1 and 4 to the back. Shouldn't take up that much more space and it will help being that much closer to equal length.

Nice work on the internal penetration! You rarely see that on manifolds. Often, even the top names in manifolds will have about 1/8" penetration (disrupts flow) rather than just melting down the inside as you did.

Looks like the outside could use a little practice, but doesn't look like anything to be ashamed of either.

Overall, looks nice.

Thanks Engloid, yeah I'm still trying to be more consistent on the outside.

I've seen guys make a living welding pipe and not be able to get the root pass to look like that.

The company I'm working for now is really hurting for good help, but most guys that come in to test just suck.

swing #2 and #3 over and run #1 and #4 where 2 and 3 are @ right now. how low does the turbo sit?

looks just like the lovefab mini-me. it offers quicker spool up versus a true equal length manifold and it has a true merge collector. and i must say i am very impressed with the penetration you got. props!

The return port on the turbo is about 2" higher than the top of the oil pan, I tried to keep the collector short to keep the turbo high enough for return line.
