Lincoln Invertec v155-s Anyone Actually Tried It?
I've searched pretty hard on here and only came across one reference to it. Mostly with invertec I see the v205 being used, but I think that is in a bit of a different league, isn't it?

Disregard, I guess it only outputs DC, and thus can't weld aluminum. . . . I guess.
Anyone got any other hints for the best bang for the buck home use tig? Looks like there's no way around me running 220v out to the garage if I want to use one. . .

I have a Lincoln 205T and I can do DC and AC off 110V. Plus its super small and comes in handy if you ever need to take it and go weld somewhere cause it only weighs 38Lbs. I love it its great and off 110V you gave up to 150 amps to mess with which is more then enough in most any situation.

Thanks, I guess you've got to spend a little to get a nice welder, huh? LOL. . .
After reading a bunch of stuff on here, I'm curious whether Miller has a competitive machine to that one?
I appreciate the input! ! ! !

This is a really good forum. I've been "diverted" to the Diversion 165 if I want portability and can manage to get 220v out to my garage. Or maybe a synchrowave 200 if I don't care about the portability or the extra money, or the 220v. . . . The Dynasty 200 would be sweet but it's pretty pricey.
I guess I'll sit back and read some more on here for a while, and see if I can learn more about any of the competing brands like Thermal Arc.
