with everyone in the dumpstars thread, and the slammed thread trying to get the low to the ground look, has anyone tried splitting the pillers and removing say 2, 3 inches from each piller to lower the roof of the car to make it even lower? i was just wondering because that would be pretty cool in my mind

 

Search for Chop top. This is not a new idea and is something that was done a lot to older hot rods and then led sleds and so on. It is pretty cool to see the process first hand. I helped to a 65 chevy truck big window and I learned a lot during that process.

 

i was looking more for a newer (90's+) civic with a chopped top




but i cant seem to find anymore

 

i have a budy that has a choptop 97 hatch. I will go to his shop tomorrow and snap some pics. I made him a fiberglass race roof for it.

 

Pretty cool. It has a Dodge magnum look to it.
