i'm tired of paying to the plumbing store 1$ everytime i want to have a fitting pressed on a line.

i want to buy the tool that presses these things..... how does it called?

i have seen them do it, its a machine.

 

all i know is that it need to be mounted on a table and it has a lever. its not big.

 

I'd like to know what its called too.

 

a hydraulic press with the correct die... that machine is expensive... many thousands of dollars.

nahh... its not hydraulic its manual.

mcmaster carr sell the crimper and most welding supplies have a crimper available also that looks like a vise grip

Looks like paying the dollatr might be more cost effective at this point!

 

Brake quip makes one. i use it at work for custom SS brake lines.

its also a hydro one. cant really imagine some one applying 900lbs on a circular item as a hose.
