Default How do i do this?

Bought this, cuz my Neukin ramhorn (for a DC) places the wastegate where it hits core support. No elbow/extension on mani...maybe it worked on DC, but I have an EG.

Like this..

Do I just clamp it to mani with no fire ring/sealing ring in the vband clamp? Cuz I cant fit a fire ring into the grooves since they're the same shallow grooves. The flange on the elbow is just like the outlet flange on mani...the rings I have all have the wider od, which sits in the flange..with a little extending lip like this

only the wider od would fit into both flanges...is there such a flange/ring made? Inlet/outlet flanges all have two od's..it would have to be just a flat ring with the wider portion..no protruding smaller section

Hope u guys have seen this before..ready to get my car going again, damn.
Seems like the sealing ring locates the parts inside the clamp? Is it common to not use a ring?
New to vbands..sorry
Damnit..calling ATP in the morn.

Ive had to make quite a few of those adapters. Doesnt look like much but they are pretty expensive to make honestly, the flanges and clamps are outrageous.

Anyways, when using adapters like that, we don't use a fire ring or gasket on the mani to adapter connection. However on the wg to adapter connection, we still use a fire ring.

Hope this helps.

Yeah.. the elbows are ~15..same for flanges...no tig...so I'd have to pay for welding..so $69 was pretty good. Still gonna be interesting finding a spot for the dump route..
thanks for lettin me know how u did it.

Well..with the positioning of the Holset by the Neukin..even with the elbow..no clear path for dump..ended up clearancing the core support with a dolly to mount Tial 44 wg directly to mani as designed...nice smooth, curved area ,looks like it was made that way. Dump can exit right over/behind the downpipe now.
goodbye elbow, sent it back to atp..who waived the restock if u get store credit for more goods..woot!
