help with welding.
i've been wanting to learn about welding but i don't have time for schooling...yet. i was wondering, what welder should i invest in that can help me with my right hand drive conversion and extending my tophats and whatnot. something not too cheap but also be able to be used for more advanced welding in the future. thanks for answering such a simple question.
whats involved in the right hand drive conversion spot welds or seam welds?
i HIGHLY recommend the RCC mig class.......its 2 nights a week from like 5 0r 6 to 9 so its not long
i say mig becuase thats probably what you want to do.....they have a great stick welding class too but its not popular for automotive use......
and you probably dont want to TIG those on......itll look cleaner but itll take you awhile to not only weld but to LEARN
hit up home depot and get that HD3500 by licoln electric.......get a bottle of argon and go for the spot welds........i wouldnt rrecommend YOU doing your top hats until you get some skill or take a class
