Default CUSTOM HEADER

I was just wondering what material the majority of you guys use when making a custom header, 4-1 weld on collector ect. What bends, thickness ect ect.

You are going to have to cut bends up. You won't be able to just buy bends and weld them together

You're asking a very vague question... so you're going to get vague answers. Most use mild steel, followed by 304 stainless, then 321, and even fewer then that use Inconel.

At least you didn't ask what size tubing everyone uses...

Well what I was looking for was the thickness of the metal. I have a blown 2002 hyundai accent and my stock exhasut is extremly restrictive. Its not really goign to be supporting any more weight then normal like a turbo or anything, so my question was like what gauge, would 16 be okay? Also I am going to be mig welding everything, I dont own a tig :/ but it should turn out alright. I just want some better flow, I am planning on 2.5 all the way back with high flow converter.
