TIG it.

The HAZ from MIG welding it is alot greater than if you TIG welded it. This makes the tubing more brittle.

JB weld should work for that application then.

Harness/bucket/5-6pt harness should all be installed together... not seperate...

Showcars... trying to "look" like racecars.... wooooo Rice!

MIG'd 4130 is a no no. For the same price, just get some mild steel if you must use a MIG.

Any kind of fender bender and you can be impaled with a piece of 4130 that sheared off from being MIG'd.

If you only have mig then use mild steel. Chromoly MUST be tig'd.

Don't be a moron and ignore what everyone says because it's not what you want to hear.

If you can't find mild (I find that hard to believe), then just simply don't install the cage. I don't know any other way to say it.

dude...dont be dumb and possibly kill yourself.

Buy a premade kit with all the bends and you just weld it in teh car. Chromoly is expensive compared to mild steel anyways. If its a street car, 20-30lbs difference in metals isnt gonna hurt you.
